Using an intelligent product search with defined filter options, the DGNB Navigator provides comprehensive, powerful results for product searches. You can access the desired detailed information with a single click. As an alternative you can access the detail page of the product directly by entering the specific registration code. Here the product characteristics are presented according to the DGNB topics as well as important additional information regarding the product in a clear way.
In the certification area, all of the products used within the project can be selected. The DGNB Navigator provides an interface to the DGNB System Software, to make recording and evaluation of the products with respect to the criterion "Local environmental impact" (ENV1.2) simple and clear.
In addition, the DGNB Navigator allows the life-cycle assessment values of multiple selected products to be exported, as well as the output of all product characteristics for one product as a PDF file. You can also create and save custom favourites lists with selected products for your different projects. This means you never lose track of the various product characteristics.
Evaluation of pollutants and hazardous materials in the certification area
The DGNB Navigator is the central tool which supports the product checks according to the DGNB system criterion ENV1.2 (Local environmental impact). A separate documentation area was created for DGNB Auditors. There, you can find existing and set up new products. It also contains a project area.
As a DGNB Auditor you automatically have access to the DGNB Navigator and the DGNB System Software. The login details are the same. Simply log in to both systems using your e-mail address as the user name and the password you already assigned.
In the DGNB Navigator certification area you can see all products which have been set up by DGNB Auditors, unpublished products, or products which have been published by manufacturers and evaluated according to quality levels. Naturally, you may also add products yourself. The quality level evaluation according to the DGNB system criterion ENV1.2 “Local environment impact” is checked by the DGNB after each submission. The means that the DGNB Navigator is growing constantly, making your work more efficient as time goes on.

It is awarded to manufacturers who provide full data transparency for the relevant product - including all the information relevant for the DGNB System. This transparency gives all parties involved in the building project the necessary guidance to be able to make a conscious choice of products in terms of sustainability.
