Through intelligent technology and the use of recyclable materials, JUNG products contribute to building energy efficiency and the reduction of CO2 emissions. With the Cradle to Cradle certification of most frequently used inserts and switch ranges, JUNG is following the path of the circular economy. Cradle to Cradle Certified® is the international standard for sustainable, recyclable and responsible products. For certification, the entire value chain is checked to ensure that products have no negative impact on people and the environment throughout their entire product life cycle. The C2C Material Health certification proves that no environmentally harmful chemicals are used in the production of JUNG products. All certified design ranges are manufactured with the use of renewable energies, can be separated by type and can therefore be fed into the recycling cycle. Currently the company is the only manufacturer in the world to have succeeded in certifying complete KNX modules. In addition, JUNG has been focussing on the use of recycled plastics in production for many years. The plastic design covers and frames of the A CREATION, A 550 and A FLOW ranges in matt anthracite consist of 95 % recycled material in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14021, which is obtained by processing and recycling plastic waste.
