Product description

The ENVIROX "S" process (products: Alfipas 745 and Alfipas 746, based on: titanium) is a chromium-free 2-component corrosion protection process for the pretreatment of aluminium and aluminium alloys prior to powder coating. It is used in suitable industrial plants. "S" means "with subsequent rinsing technique", i.e. a final rinse with water prior to the painting process is required for the surface thus protected against corrosion.
Aluminium surfaces pretreated with Alfipas 745 - Alfipas 746 can be used in conjunction with suitable powder coatings for interior and exterior applications (e.g. for façade elements). The chrome-free product combination is approved for pretreatment in accordance with the specifications of the GSB - International and Qualicoat quality associations. The 10-year outdoor weathering test carried out by GSB International in Hoek van Holland was also successfully completed.
